Notable: Kafel won the Mid-South 4-A Conference bowling tournament with a 653 in qualifying. He defeated the No. 2 and No. 4 seeds in the stepladder finals and finished the day with a 212.6 average.

Notable: Bethel had 42 total points and 29 total rebounds in two games in the Cape Fear Independent Conference tournament, earning MVP honors.
