Westover held off a fourth-quarter comeback by Hoke County to beat the Bucks 77-72 on Tuesday night.
A 28-point second quarter helped Westover build a 68-55 lead headed into the final period. The Bucks won the fourth quarter 17-9 but came up short.
Alfonzo Josey led Westover (11-3) with 18 points and Eddie Jackson added 16. Hoke (12-2) was led by Tarique Thompson with 28.
