A look at Tigers football players likely to make an impact this season.

Sergio Britton

Class: Senior

About Britton: In need of a new No. 1 receiver after losing Diorus Proctor, who caught five touchdown passes last year as a senior, South View benefits from the arrival of Britton, a Cape Fear transfer. He had 24 catches for 302 yards last season.

Greg Gilmore

DeJohn Whitted

About Whitted: He returns to the field after getting hurt twice as a sophomore, with a knee injury forcing him to miss the final third of the 2011 season. He flashed his potential with seven tackles and a fumble recovery in an early victory against Hoke County.
