Trinity Christian tops Forsyth Country Day, 35-28

 

LEWISVILLE - Trinity Christian improved to 2-0 on the season with a hard-fought, 35-28 win over Forsyth Country Day.

Jay Brown and Andrew Brown scored two touchdowns each for the Crusaders. Jay Brown opened the scoring for Trinity with an 11-yard run in the second quarter. Andrew Brown followed that up with a 44-yard run to send Trinity into halftime with a 15-7 lead.

Andrew's second score came on a 78-yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter, and Jay caught a 30-yard pass from Justin Townsend to complete the Crusaders' scoring.

Luke Johnson threw four touchdown passes for Forsyth Country Day (1-2).
