State playoffs Friday's results

All of Friday's winners will advance to next week's Eastern Regional tournament in Greenville, boys at East Carolina University's Minges Coliseum, girls at J.H. Rose High School.

Game times will be 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Game dates and pairings will be announced today by the N.C. High School Athletic Association.

Regional championship games in all classifications will be held Saturday, March 6.

Regional winners advance to the state championship games on Saturday, March 13. The 1-A and 3-A games for boys and girls will be at the Smith Center in Chapel Hill. The 2-A and 4-A games will be at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh.
